Since I
was a child, I've always wanted to visit China. Chinese culture and its
people's philosophy have always caught my attention. I'm currently
learning simplified mandarin, so I'm constantly consuming music, movies and
pretty much everything I can find in that language.
The city
that I want to visit first is Beijing; I’d visit the Temple of Heaven, then The
Forbidden City and finally the portion of The Great Wall that’s in the city,
just the typical tourist stuff. I also want to taste the local food, from
street food to more fancy stuff.
To be
honest, I would prefer to travel alone, maybe even hire some tour service once
I get there or something. Based on experience, when travelling alone you get to
experiment different things, so I’d like my dream journey to China to be a personal
experience.

You are right. Travelling alone is THE way to get to the real experience. You can do whatever you have to do and live what you have to live.
ResponderEliminarEverytime I travel with friends, we end up fighting and hating each other (once I even broke up with a girlfriend on the way back to Santiago, on a plane).
Cheers!
